Traumatised health teams will receive counselling

TRAUMATISED staff at hospitals throughout the province are to be offered counselling in the wake of the Omagh tragedy.
Heroic doctors and nurses battled round the clock to save numerous lives.
They were confronted with some of the most horrific and graphic images of their careers - often trying to match body parts to victims.
Now personnel managers have arranged for professional help to be on hand for those who need to talk through the harrowing experience.
The move comes as the Lord Lieutenant of Londonderry called for a special tribute for Ulster's angels of mercy.
Speaking at a special thank-you lunch for staff at Altnagelvin Hospital, James Eaton said: "It is important that we acknowledge the dedication and compassion that has been so much in evidence.
"The long hours staff have worked, and the unstinting care and devotion they have given to every task needed in saving lives is deeply appreciated.
"We include them in our prayers for the bereaved, the injured and all the families who are suffering at this very sad and difficult time."
