Hotels in gesture to victim families

CASH donations and offers of help are still flooding into bomb-ravaged Omagh, it emerged today.
The families of people injured in Saturday's explosion have been offered free rooms in hotels across the province.
In an effort to help with an accommodation problem, the Europa Hotel has offered 10 rooms to those families visiting the Royal and City hospitals.
The Everglades Hotel in Londonderry and the Stormont Hotel in Belfast, also part of the Hastings Group, are also accommodating families in any spare rooms they have.
John Toner, general manager of the Europa, said: "We are offering somewhere where the families can come privately with complimentary bed and breakfast.
"Everyone has been touched by the tragedy and we want to do anything we can to help."
Hastings marketing director, Julie Maguire, said: "It is very distressing for families when their relatives are taken to a hospital in Belfast.
"The last thing they need is to worry about where they can stay and if they can afford it.
"It is very hard to know what can be done to help the people of Omagh, but we felt this was something we could do."
The rooms also have notes of condolences written in Spanish for the families of the exchange students who are still in hospital.
Offers of accommodation and transport for relatives visiting family in hospital have been flooding in to Omagh council. Details are available on request.
Generous donors have also offered holiday breaks for victims of the bomb.
People have also been donating money to the bombing memorial fund at First Trust Bank. High Street, Omagh, account no 55876365, sort code 93 81 30. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, Visa, postal order or direct payment to Omagh district council. Cheques should be made payable to 'Omagh Memorial Fund'.
Omagh Council has called for people caught up in Saturday's blast to immediately report any injuries to the police.
Physical and mental injuries can be reported either to a local police station or to the police desk at the council's emergency co-ordination centre.
The co-ordination centre is at 10 High Street in the town and can be phoned on 01662 252599 or faxed on 01662 245613or 245569.
People with injuries have also been urged to contact a solicitor without delay.
A range of other services is still available at the co-ordination centre, which is open every day from 9am to 6pm.
People can seek advice from The Compensation Agency, Police Compensation, Social Security Agency, Social Services and other counselling services.
The Northern Ireland Housing Executive, Planning Service, Environmental Health and Building Control are also on hand.
