FUNERALS for six other victims were also held on the last day of the Omagh funerals.
The service for Esther Gibson (36) was held in Sixmilecross Free Presbyterian Church, where she was a devoted Sunday School teacher.
In his address to mourners the Rev Ian Paisley readied how she had once written a short prayer on a page in her Bible.
"It said "Please God send me a man of God in be my partner in God sent that man, our brother Kenneth Hawkes, who had been looking forward to being her husband.
"Ken never got to be her husband - but one day they will be reunited in the kingdom of heaven." he said.
Miss Gibson, who lived on a farm just outside Beragh, had been due to marry Mr Hawkes on her next birthday - July 29, 1999.
The body of Omagh teenager Samantha McFarland (17) was cremated at Roselawn yesterday after a service in Lislimnaghan Church.
Samantha, according to her minister Derek Quinn, was a young woman who loved the environment and cared so much for others that she freely and happily gave up her time to help Oxfam.
There were heart-breaking scenes as her coffin was carried from her home at Clements Villas. Members of St John Ambulance joined the procession as it made its way from the family home to the church.
The funeral of Deborah Ann Cart-wright (20) was held at St Columba's Church, Omagh. Her body was later cremated at Roselawn.
A large crowd of mourners filled the church to capacity and heard the Rev Ruth Adams speak of Deborah Ann's zest for life.
Fr Eugene Hasson told the congregation at the funeral of Brian McCrory (54) at St Mary's Church, Killyclogher, how he - like the other victims - died in the most violent way imaginable.
"Even now, five days later, after most of the 28 funerals, we still find it hard to believe that such a thing could have happened here in Omagh, but it did," he said.
Mass for Geraldine Breslin (43) who had one son. Gareth, was said by curate Fr John Forbes in St John's Hall. Omagh. He had married Geraldine and husband Mark only three years ago.
And at the funeral of Julia Hughes (21) Methodist President the Rev David Kerr condemned the "evil and savage" act which took her life.
Julia was about to enter the final year of her accountancy course at Dundee University.
She was cremated at Roselawn after a service in Omagh Methodist Church.
