Sister's poignant tribute in verse

A SISTER'S loving tribute moved mourners to tears at the funeral of Alan Radford(16).
The Omagh High school boy who had been due to receive his GCSE results on Tuesday, was helping his mother Marion do the weekly shopping when he was killed by Saturday's blast. He was one of six teenagers to die.
His sister Claire (15) wrote the poignant poem in his honour. Entitled Together Again it was printed on the order of service at his funeral.
Alan's headmaster, Bill Harper, and Brian Peacock, a member of the Mormon Church to which the Radford family belong, spoke at the private service at the family home yesterday in Castle View in the town.
Afterwards, Mr Peacock said Alan was a very helpful, caring boy, with a strong faith in God. who practised the Christian principles he believed
He said the Radford family had taken a great deal of comfort from the support they received from all sides of the local community, as well as from messages of sympathy from all over the world.
Hundreds of mourners gathered outside the house to follow the funeral cortege's short final journey to Greenhill cemetery, on Gortin Road, just outside Omagh, where Alan was laid to rest
