By Martina Purdy

THE funeral service for Olive Hawkes (60) was held in a little country church outside the town.
Mrs Hawkes was laid to rest at a cemetery in Cappagh Parish Churchyard.
Her grieving husband Percy, her son Mark, daughter Mandy and son-in-law Mervyn were joined by hundreds of mourners.
A pastoral homily at Mayne Methodist was given by family friend, the Reverend Kenneth Robinson, from Belfast.
The president of the Methodist Church, the Reverend David Kerr, brought messages of support from the wider Methodist family.
Mr Kerr said: "The family are all very, very devastated. And they are finding a considerable amount of comfort and consolation from their own deep Christian faith and from the ministration of their local clergy."
