32-COUNTY SOVEREIGNTY CALL FOR END TO WITCH-HUNT
32-County Sovereignty call for an end to 'witch-hunt'
By Martina Purdy
MEMBERS of the 32-County Sovereignty Movement, which has been linked by police to the Real IRA, are to hold a Press conference within days.
Joe Dillon, a spokesman for the movement said its leadership would be making its views known after the Omagh funerals are completed.
Although Bernadette Sands-McKevitt appeared on RTE yesterday, the spokesman said he had been nstructed to give no interviews.
He then hit out at the media claiming they were whipping up public hysteria, encouraging people to break the law.
"Put in any article you are writing and this committee will be demanding that the law be upheld, and all this nonsense about people marching and bullying members of our committee will have to be brought to an end. The media are hyping people up to break the law.
"We are a lawfully constituted committee."
