Cattle show cancelled as a mark of respect

ONE of the province's major cattle shows has been cancelled as a mark of respect for the people killed in the Omagh bombing.
The Northern Ireland National Charolais event, due to have been staged in Fintona on Saturday, will not now take place.
The event - launched last year - was being organised by the Northern Ireland Charolais Club in conjunction with Omagh District Council.
Today David Benson, Chief Executive, British Cattle Society said: "All of the GB visitors who planned to attend send their sympathy to the bereaved in Omagh and the surrounding district.
"We also send sincere best wishes to the entire community who have to rebuild their lives after this tragic event."
