Books open as grief sweeps the province

BOOKS of condolence have been opened across the province to provide an outlet for the huge wave of sympathy for victims of the Omagh bomb.
Belfast City Council opened a number of books.
They will remain open to the public from Monday to Friday from 9am-7pm.
North Down Borough Council also announced it is opening condolence books.
Members of the public can sign them in the reception area of Bangor Town Hall.
Fermanagh District Council has opened books at five locations within the council area.
Lisburn Borough Council opened books at two locations - in the town's Irish Linen Centre, and the council's borough offices in Hillsborough.
Ards Borough Council has opened up books inside the council offices.
Derry City Council has also opened a book of condolence in the city's Guildhall.
A number of other councils across Northern Ireland have said they intend to open books, and will announce details as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, books of condolence have also opened in the Mansion House in Dublin.
Lord Mayor of Dublin Senator Joe Doyle said: "I visited Omagh to express my condolences to the chairman of the urban council on behalf of the members of our own city council and the citizens of Dublin and I was very well received and they appreciated my visit.
"And as a follow-up to that I have instructed that books of condolence will be available at the Mansion House here from 12 noon until 6pm each day until Friday."
