Hospital's blood call
Almost 150 pints were used at Altnagelvin Hospital in Londonderry as medics battled to treat some of the more seriously injured.
Half of the hospital's blood bank supply was transferred to Omagh.
Meanwhile, Altnagelvin received supplies from Letterkenny and Coleraine Hospitals.
Twenty-two victims were last night being treated at Altnagelvin.
Their conditions are: two critical, two very seriously ill, two seriously ill, three ill and 13 stable.
