Parents' heartbreaking journey

THE parents of the 12-year-old Spanish schoolboy killed in Saturday's massacre have made the heart-breaking journey to Omagh to bring home the body of their son.
The couple arrived from Madrid accompanied by a high-ranking Spanish official in the town yesterday.
They made their way first to Omagh Leisure Centre where they were taken to a private room to prepare for the ordeal ahead.
Then, accompanied by the Dublin-based Spanish ambassador, they made the short journey to the morgue set up at Omagh Army base to formally identify the body of their son, Fernando Blasco Baselga.
He died alongside one of his teachers, 24-year-old Rocio Abad Ramon in the bomb.
They had been enjoying an afternoon shopping in Omagh after a trip to the Ulster American Folk Park with their young friends and hosts from Buncrana in Co Donegal.
Their bodies were flown home to Spain yesterday.
